About CAC

China Academic Consortium

China Academic Consortium (CAC) was established in 1996 as an outgrowth of Educational Resources and Referrals - China (ERRChina) when a group of committed academics in North America sought to engage with educational institutions and individual scholars from mainland China.

CAC has developed a variety of enrichment programs, conferences/ forums, website resources as well as credit courses like the annual intensive Chinese Worldviews Seminar and the Legacy of Ancient Christianity. In addition, we also sponsor scholars conducting cutting-edge research on Chinese Christianity.

Since 2017 Chinese Evangelical Theological Society (CETS) was formed by a group of North American Chinese Christian academics in partnership with CAC to sponsor annual symposiums and quarterly forums.

CAC is an affiliate of Graduate Theological Union (GTU) Berkeley.
