Management Resources Alliance (MRA) encompasses ERRC’s short-term programs for Christian
professionals. For over 16 years, ERRC has provided opportunities for western Christian
professionals to share their expertise in China’s top educational institutions.
Since China entered the World Trade Organization in 2001, opportunities abound
for Christian business professionals to engage with Chinese business leaders
via the classroom.
As China prepares to meet the WTO’s full membership requirements, Christian business
professionals can assist by providing wise guidance and expertise.
Since 1992, ERRC’s business professionals have taught or lectured on the stock market,
real estate, textile design, banking, accounting, management, marketing, and other
business topics. More education is needed in insurance, business law, finance,
economics, production upgrading, strategic planning, and communications, to name a few.
- MA, PhD, and DBA degrees in specific subject areas preferable
- 5+ years working experience
- Teaching from a Christian perspective
The minimum length of commitment is two weeks to teach an intensive course
in a university. Also possible are three-month, one semester, or one-year
teaching assignments. Some business professionals have taught with our program
for more than 5 years.
The matching process with a Chinese host normally takes at least three to
six months. Teaching assignments are Fall Term (September to January) or
Spring Term (February to June).
We also offer a short-term, two-week intensive course for
a small team of 3-5 business professionals.
Business professionals will be placed at business schools
in Chinese universities to teach business major undergraduates, graduate
students, faculty members, or executives of commercial enterprises.
Participants in the MRA program are required to raise funds for their own
orientation, overhead, and international travel fund. Only those with
high degrees and who commit to teach for more than three months may expect
full or partial international travel reimbursement. China hosts will
provide room and board for program participants.
